I began studying Health and Natural Living in the mid 1980’s. Then, after successfully completing numerous courses in nutrition, I began studying exercise physiology. I am currently certified as a Group Fitness Instructor, Personal Trainer, Fitness Counselor, Weight Room Specialist, and in CPR.
In 1996, I completed one full year as the exercise instructor in a high volume chiropractic rehabilitation center where I worked with approximately 75 patients while simultaneously maintaining my private practice.
In 1997, I became certified as a Post Rehab Conditioning Specialist by the American Academy of Health and Fitness Professionals.
In 2001, I worked with a doctor, overseeing rehabilitation in his facility and accompanying him to local nursing homes to work with senior citizens.
In 2002, I created a Partner Assisted Flexibility routine for increasing range of motion, restoring function and inducing relaxation.
In 2004, I successfully completed a course in mat science, based on the classic disciplines of movement, which include yoga, Pilates, calisthenics and other traditional floor work.
In 2005, I was trained by Aaron Mattes himself, in Active Isolated Stretching techniques.
By the end of 2008, I will have completed my certification in Lifestyle Fitness Coaching.
I continue to take courses and attend seminars to better serve my diverse clientele. I have written many articles for a local newspaper and a health magazine and have lectured in various health facilities in Pennsylvania and New York.
I work with individuals in my private studio, in their homes, through the mail, over the phone and via the Internet. I help individuals get the body they want, the energy they need and the power that can make them unstoppable. I am the Owner and Training Director of Linda Sticco’s Personal Training Fitness Studio, Inc. I love what I do!
